The Twelve days of Sketches,Day three; Katekyo Hitman Reborn

It’s the third day of sketches, and today’s theme is… Hitman Reborn? There seems to be a trend going here. I wonder if I’ll draw more cosplay tommorrow. Anyway…..

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is about a kid named Sawada Tsunayoshi (nick-named ‘no good tsuna’) who’s never been good at anything, until one day a hitman baby named Reborn drops by and announces that he is not only Tsuna’s tutor, but Tsuna has been selected as the tenth succesor of the  Vongola Mafia family. It starts of like a gag show but quickly turns  into a action packed anime. Good Stuff. The anime is on Crunchyroll. The manga is released in the states under Viz as Reborn!

Yes. Cosplay is dangerous………. Tomorrow I’ll think I’ll add more chatacters to the (wait for it) ‘Characters’ page.

Book Preview

It’s Friday, Friday, Releasinig a preview on Friday…

 

Well, I thought it was only fair that since you’re visiting a blog dedicated to a light novel, you should at least get to read a sample of that novel. And so, the folowing bit comes from Chapter One, A tale from Kuntaro*

 

I am so bored. Seriously, this is the third time I’ve been kidnapped this year and it’s only early April.

Oh, I should introduce myself, shouldn’t I ? My name is-

“Oi, bozu. We’re moving you to another room.”

A voice in the dark said. Arrgh, how rude. As I was saying, my name is Hanbishi-Ogure Kunzakitaro. Or just Kuntaro for short.

Yeah, my name is a real mouthful isn’t it?Someone just lugged me over their shoulder and

is carrying me to another room like they said.Oh, I suppose you’re wondering why I’ve been kidnapped and such.

Details, details. We’ll get to that later.Ah, I’m being tied to a chair now.

It’s pretty dark, but I think it’s a warehouse or something.

Don’t you think its weird that there are so many abandoned warehouses and such on TV?

Prime real estate, being wasted. My mouth was gagged earlier, and I’m really thirsty.

It’s a good thing I don’t need to use the bathroom. Hm? What’s that noise? Sounds like a car is being parked outside.

Sano? Is it Sano? I hope it’s Sano. “AHHHHHHH!” Whoa, screaming now? What’s going on downstairs? Gunshots.

Oh man, who is that? Who’s shooting who? Oh crap… I struggle with the ropes. There’s a blade in the bottom of my shoe. If I can just get my foot free…

 

Yes…Very short, I know. But I’ll release another snippet, and soon you’ll be able to read it in the next issue of Visual Scene Magazine. As for what I said last time…The chracter page has been edited, Kuntaro’s and Sano’s taste in movies/Manga/Anime and the like has been added.
